"Oh," squeaks Luxanne, and swallows any other words she had to say. He's...handsome. "Oh."

Guy gives Luxanne a questioning look, but says nothing on the matter. "Luxanne, I'd like you to meet Van. Van, Luxanne."

Van chuckles, voice smooth and rich, and holds a large hand out to her. "A pleasure to meet you," he says.

Luxanne finds her cheeks pinking as she reaches out to shake his hand, brain going into auto mode. His hand wraps around hers, and a wave of warmth flows over her.

"Hi," she squeaks, not quite aware of what she's saying. "Hi."

He really, really was handsome.
